Cold-Weather Shelter Takes On Ecumenical Approach This Year

The Whittier Area Interfaith Council's rotating cold-weather shelter is taking on an even more ecumenical approach this year. Recently, men and women from Temple Beth Shalom spent a week running the shelter. And this week, 20 people from the Whittier California Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are providing meals and supervision.
